There are several brands of floor cleaning robots available, but none of them really stand out from the others when it comes to features or quality. That has finally changed, though, because now consumers have a revolutionary new type of floor cleaner robot to choose from and that is the Mint Automatic Floor Cleaning Robot by Evolution Robotics.
The Mint Automatic Floor Cleaning Robot is basically designed to clean all types of hard floor surfaces, such as laminate flooring, tiles or hardwood floors. It can pick up dirt, dust and even pet hair off of floors by sweeping or mopping the area. It is very efficient at cleaning, because its compact size allows it to access hard to reach areas and since it is square it can also clean along edges.
The purpose of the Mint floor cleaning robot is to clean surfaces, but how this is done is different. Unlike other brands, the Mint floor cleaning robot uses microfiber or disposable cloths to clean hard floor surfaces. Dry and wet cleaning cloths can be purchased directly from Mint and these can be used hundreds of times, but the Mint cleaning robot is compatible with just about any brand of disposable cleaning cloth. Once the surfaces are cleaned, these cloths can then be washed and used again or simply thrown away. No dirt or debris is sucked up into the floor cleaning robot, which eliminates the need to maintain the engine, change filters and empty out bins.
Another great new feature of the Mint floor cleaner by Evolution Robotics is the fact that it is very quiet when in operation. The noise level is comparable to that of a whisper and that means it can be used at all times, because the noise will not disturb people on the phone or wake anybody up. Once the robot floor cleaner is finished with the area it is supposed to clean, it also turns itself off automatically after returning to the spot it was first started. By turning off as soon as the job is done, the Mint floor cleaner robot requires less charging and that in turn means lower operating costs. Since it also returns to where the owner set it down, it is also easy to find and there is no need to search for it.
Evolution Robotics also uses the advanced North Star Navigation System to guide the floor cleaning robot. This navigation system is similar to a GPS system and ensures that no areas of the floor are missed by having the robot move in straight lines. It also navigates the Mint floor cleaner along baseboards and around all objects on the floor, including rugs and furniture. As the Mint cleaning robot moves around the area to be cleaned, it creates a map of where it has been and makes note of all obstacles and edges. When dry cleaning cloths are being used, the Mint floor cleaning robot can make a map for up to 1,000 square feet. However, when in mopping mode the mapping and cleaning area is restricted to a maximum of 250 square feet.
