Do I have to make different robots.txt and sitemap.xml on every subdomain of my website?

I have a website and 5 subdomains, and only my main homapage have sitemap.xml and robots.txt. I want all of my subdomains to be indexed by search engine. do i have to make robots.txt and sitemap.xml on every subdomain?

What was that movie with robots that were like spiders and would spit acid?

I remember the robots had like little needles and would sneak up on people and spit acid onto/into them. Also there was a part in the movie where the people were behind chased by another car and they opened up a hole in the floor of their car and released a robot that drove on the road and blew up the car that was chasing them.
